Junior Performance Troupe

Performance Troupe focuses on developing professional working techniques, rehearsal etiquette, audition preparation and team building.

• Junior Troupe – School Years 4 – 6
• Senior Troupe – School Years 7 – 12

Entry is via audition only.

Performance Troupe Auditions are offered to Students who have attended Hunter Drama 12 months (four terms) or more. Successful auditionees will be presented with various opportunities to perform at drama festivals and eisteddfod events.  This course will have a strong focus on devising theatre, as well as monologue and scene development.

It is expected that Performance Troupers display an extremely high level of performance. They must have a thorough understanding and grasp on the fundamental elements of performance.

Performance Troupe is for students who are serious about acting and who are willing to commit themselves 100%. Students with other commitments outside of Hunter Drama (Eg. dancing, sport) are encouraged to seriously consider with the family whether this troupe is right for them as we are unable to accept students with conflicting commitments.

Members of Performance Troupe are required to display self-discipline, focus and a strong commitment to be ready to work hard at each workshop and rehearsal.
