Evelyn Parkes – Drama
Evelyn is passionate about all aspects of the Performing Arts. She was the Stage Manager of ‘Kid Frankenstein’ (Hunter Drama), Assistant Director of ‘Grease’ (Callaghan College), and completed work experience backstage at StarStruck. Evelyn is delighted to be Stage Managing once again for Hunter Drama’s ‘The Jungle Book’. She is also an active member of the Newcastle Theatre Community and was a City of Newcastle Drama Association (CONDA) Youth Ambassador 2022-2023.
Evelyn’s love of theatre led her to become a HD Assistant Tutor allowing her to further develop her leadership skills and understanding of the Hunter Drama Syllabus. She enjoyed sharing her passion with young people which prompted her to apply to be a Tutor to continue working with young performers.
