Bree Bennett | Tutor
Bree Bennett is an experienced performer in singing, piano, and musical theatre. She has become a regular performer in Newcastle, and in 2023 won a City of Newcastle Drama Award for her role in Heathers as Veronica Sawyer (Chookas Entertainment 2022). Some of her other career highlights include Megan Jones in Puffs (The Very Popular Theatre Co 2022), Brooke Lohst in Be More Chill (Chookas Entertainment, 2021) and The Players in Pippin (Chookas Entertainment 2023).
Alongside performing, Bree has also discovered a passion for musical direction, with credits including Be More Chill (Chookas Entertainment 2024), Frozen Jr (Young People’s Theatre 2022), and the Mystery Musical, 9 to 5 (The Very Popular Theatre Co 2025). When she isn’t performing, Bree shares her expertise through teaching. She completed a Bachelor of Music with Distinction at the University of Newcastle in 2021, earning the College Medal as well as the Harrison Award and Scholarship for outstanding results in singing.
Now in her eighth year of teaching, Bree is passionate about helping performers understand their instrument and unlock their creative potential.
