Secondary Musical Theatre (Mon) (Cessnock)

Hunter Drama’s brand new Senior musical theatre course is the essential training course to become a shining triple threat for stage productions.

This course, for students in school years 10, 11 & 12 will cover tap, jazz, ballet, acting and vocal training  and are all covered in a 90 minute lesson per week.

Following Hunter Drama’s own brand new musical theatre syllabus students will work with industry professionals and learn from their valuable experiences. Highly ensemble based, students make new friends and hone their skills whilst learning to tell a story through movement, vocal work and character choices. Each musical theatre class showcases their talents at Hunter Drama’s mid-year and end of year festivals.

Students will also train extensively to impress in that all important musical theatre audition. Select, create and prepare your very own solo piece to perform in a simulated in-class audition scenario.
