SHOWCASING TOMORROW’S STARS: IN MOTION & FRAGMENTS
This November, Hunter Drama proudly presents two powerful showcases that celebrate the passion, discipline, and artistry of our most dedicated young performers: In Motion and Fragments. Though distinct in style and story, both productions highlight the extraordinary talent within our audition only ensembles.
In Motion
16 November 2025 – Civic Theatre Newcastle
Directed by Ali Hodge
Hunter Drama’s Pre-Diploma students take the stage in In Motion, a dynamic showcase of song, dance, and story. These are our most senior performers – students preparing for careers in musical theatre, sharing their journeys through moments of challenge, triumph, and transformation.
Every number in In Motion reflects the spirit of a generation in motion: constantly evolving, striving, and embracing the future with energy and passion. With raw talent and undeniable artistry, this is a chance to witness tomorrow’s stars, today.

Fragments
23 November 2025 – Civic Playhouse
A week later, the spotlight shifts to Hunter Drama’s Performance Troupe for Fragments, a striking showcase exploring the broken pieces of people, places, memories, and time.
Through a collection of scenes – some exploring fractured friendships, others memory, loss, or identity, the Performance Troupe presents theatre that is bold, unexpected, and deeply moving. Each fragment is just one part of something bigger; together, they form a patchwork of story and emotion that lingers long after the curtain falls.
Fragments is a testament to the passion, discipline, and artistry of Hunter Drama’s most dedicated young actors, selected by audition for this advanced program.
A November to Remember
From the musical vibrancy of In Motion to the raw theatricality of Fragments, Hunter Drama invites audiences to celebrate the achievements of our audition only ensembles. Each showcase is a milestone in their artistic journeys and a thrilling reminder of the bright future of theatre in our region. Tickets for both these showcase productions are just $39. BOOK NOW!
