Graduating from Hunter School of the Performing Arts in 2014 with an OnStage nomination for her HSC drama individual performance, Georgia is currently in her third year of a Bachelor degree in Communication/Law Honours (Combined) at the University of Newcastle.
In 2014 Georgia travelled to New York and Los Angeles to participate in acting, dancing, and musical theatre workshops, refining her training with first class industry professionals. During this time she studied at Stella Adler, Margie Haber, DANY Studios, and completed workshops under the guidance of current Broadway professionals.
In 2016 she completed her CUA50213 Diploma of Musical Theatre through Pantseat Academy and WEA Hunter, and was accepted into the four year Bachelor of Musical Theatre program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York. This step in her career is a goal she is continuing to work towards.
Having been involved in Newcastle theatre since 2005, she has participated in numerous festivals, special events, concerts and eisteddfods, allowing her passion for live theatre to grow and become what it is today. Her recent credits include Miranda in The Tempest (Young People’s Theatre), Kira/Clio in Xanadu (Pantseat Productions), Rosemary in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Hunter School of the Performing Arts), Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors (Pantseat Productions), the Roald Dahl Festival’s Someone Like You (Stooged), Meg in Away (Pantseat Performing Arts), Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut in Avenue Q (Pantseat Academy (CONDA Nomination; Excellence by a Female Actor in a Leading Role (Musical))), Lilly Cahill in Punk Rock (Stooged Theatre (CONDA Nomination; Excellence by a Female Actor in a Leading Role (Drama or Comedy))), and Meg in POST (Upstage Youth Theatre). In January of 2016 she made her assistant directing debut on Proof (Newcastle Theatre Company).
Georgia is thrilled to be tutoring for Hunter Drama in 2017.
